3 Pakistani Terrorists in Bihar

Bihar Police Headquarters has issued a high alert after intelligence inputs revealed that three Pakistani terrorists from Jaish-e-Mohammad entered Bihar through the Nepal border, leading to tightened security at railway stations, bus stands, airports, hotels, and ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections.

According to police reports, three terrorists from Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad have allegedly entered Bihar through Nepal on August 15.

They have been identified as:

  1. Hasnanin Ali from Rawalpindi,

  2. Adil Hussain from Umarkot,

  3. Mohammad Usman from Bhawalpur.

Officials said the trio first reached Kathmandu in Nepal during the second week of August, and later crossed into Bihar.

In response, the Bihar Police has shared their names, photographs, and passport details with all border districts. Security has been tightened at railway stations, bus stands, hotels, and other crowded places.

Senior officers have directed all district intelligence teams to increase surveillance, collect information from the ground, and immediately act on anything suspicious.

The Sashastra Seema Bal jawans at the Bihar-Nepal border are on high alert. Airport and railway security agencies have also stepped up checks.

Authorities say this is not the first time terrorists have tried to enter through the Bihar-Nepal border, as the route is often misused for easy movement.

Police have also appealed to the public: if you see any suspicious person or activity, inform the authorities right away.

Meanwhile, extra security arrangements have been made for political leaders. Rahul Gandhi, who is on a 13-day yatra in Bihar, will now meet people only in a bulletproof vehicle for safety reasons.
